Catching up!

Sorry for the delay in new posts and pictures! We've had a busy July! Carl recently went on a fishing trip with the Cassell men and had a fantastic time! While he was gone, Luke and i took a little trip to the mountains in Colorado with Nana. The cool weather was a really welcome change from the Texas heat. We are not happy to be back in the 100 degree weather!

We also took a quick day trip to San Antonio in July to meet up with our friends the Robinsons and they're little girl Loralei! Luke and Loralei were both born in November 2006, although you can see from the pictures that Luke definitely has a few inches on her! The kids had a great time seeing all the animals at the zoo!

Luke is doing really well and learning new things every day! He can now say and identify most letters of the alphabet, and he is saying something new every day! He has also given up on walking all together and prefers to run everywhere he goes! We haven't been able to spend too much time outside int he heat, but we are starting up swim lessons again this week (in an indoor pool thankfully) so that should keep us cool for a while!
