Overdue update

Sorry for the posting lapse, but things have been pretty busy around here, and I am just now getting a chance to get it all down! In September Luke started preschool for three mornings a week. He absolutely loves it! He is so excited every time we go to see his teachers and his new friends. We are so glad that he enjoying it so much! We also started gymnastics class this month! We do that once a week at the Y, and it's basically a bunch of 2 year olds running around like crazy people for 45 minutes, but Luke seems to enjoy the madness and gets a lot of energy out. This month Luke has been working on writing his name. He can do all the letters but the "K". That one is tricky, but he's getting close. He has also been picking up some random Spanish words from some of the TV shows he sees, and has started asking me what everything is in Spanish, so we've been working on numbers and colors.

Abby turned 7 months old in September! She is getting so big and so interactive and social. Her favorite word is "Dada" and she uses it all the time! She lights up when she sees her Daddy! She is working hard on scooting, although so far all she has managed is going backwards and rolling. She manages to get pretty far that way though! She is also up to 4 teeth and tyring to learn to pick up food and feed herself. We have a ways to go on that, but she has a good time practicing! She is an all around happy girl and her brother makes her laugh like no one else can!

Carl is finally slowing down a bit at work after 7 weeks of working way too much. Since his schedule has opened up a bit, we're taking a vacation next week to Disney World! Luke is beyond excited and can't wait to go and meet Mickey and see the fireworks! On the 4th of July he was terrified by them, but you would never know it now. He is always talking about wanting to see them, and I think that he will have plenty of opportunities at Disney World! We're all looking forward to a nice break! We'll be back at the end of next week with lots of new updates and pictures from our trip!
