We were very happy to have a three day weekend here in Austin to celebrate the 4th of July! We took Luke to his first fireworks show on Thursday night. He seemed to enjoy it, but after the first few minutes, he was much more interested in running around int eh dark in a large crowd of people, so we packed up and headed home. Since it has been so hot, we like to Luke to an indoor playground in one of the shopping malls close to us. He always has a great time there and loved climbing in and out of the rocket ship! We spent a lot of time relaxing at home this weekend too, so we wanted to take Luke out someplace fun on Sunday. We decided to head downtown and visit the Austin Children's Museum. Luke really had a great time! There was so much to see and do! We wish we lived closer so that we could go all the time! Here are a few pictures from our weekend! Luke is so handsome. That indoor playground looks great, I wish we had something like that, I bet it's perfect.
