All the news that's fit to print!

Since last we checked in, it has been a busy month at the Ford house! Abby turned 5 months old and is doing great! Her bottom front two teeth came in much earlier then expected, but she looks adorable with her little toothy smile! She is also very close to sitting up! She can sit on her own for a couple of minutes before falling over, and she is getting better and better every day! We are still working on sleeping issues with Abby, but this week she has been in her own bed every night and only up once to eat, so we are making progress! She is still waking up a lot more than that, but she is learning to put herself back to sleep without our help. Solid food is also going very well with Abby. She has loved everything that we have tried so far, and does a great job with her dinner every night!

Luke has also had a busy month! He is wrapping up his time at his current school and getting ready to start a new preschool in September! We are taking August off, so his last day at his current school will be next Thursday! We are also making major potty training progress. This week Luke has been in underwear every day, and he is getting better and better every day. Hopefully he will be done with diapers in no time! In addition to knowing all of his upper and lower case letters, Luke has also mastered all of the letter sounds, and is slowly figuring out how to recognize words. He can already spell and recognize several words, and he loves to draw letters with his paints and crayons!
