Or "vacation" if you don't have your Luke to English dictionary handy! Over the Fourth of July weekend, we spent the holiday at the Lost Pines resort with the White family! This is our third summer trip to Lost Pines, and it is always a fun and relaxing weekend for the whole family! Luke had a great time participating in some of the activities this year that he wasn't big enough for in previous years. He had a great time floating in the lazy river, going on a pony ride, making s'mores and watching fireworks! Well, he will tell you that he loved the fireworks, but he spent most of his time with his face buried in my shirt while they were happening!
Abby also seemed to enjoy all the time outdoors and floating around in the pool in her little boat. She must have enjoyed the water, because every time we put her in her boat to float around, she fell asleep in the pool! Unlike her brother, she was not bothered at all by the fireworks and actually slept through most of the show! Overall, it was a great break from the routine for all of us, and we can't wait to go back next year! Here are a bunch of pictures from our trip!
